On the last day of my stay in Kyoto in 2004 I went to the Gojo-dori Pottery fair. The previous evening there had been a terrific thunderstorm, but the artists in Gojo-dori were in full operation in the morning.  I met Tatsuo Azuma at his stand and was attracted to his wares.  He seemed  a very amiable guy and I bought this pretty little guinomi from him.
